One day I cracked open a fortune cookie and pulled out the small slip of paper. One side taught me to say cherry in Chinese (Ying Tao), while the other side had these words of wisdom:
Good writing is clear thinking made visible.
The trick is to get your thinking clear enough to put down on paper, and combine your love for words with the other loves in your life. In my case, this means merging writing, food and dogs. Not as easy as it sounds, but I’ve enjoyed every step of the journey, the learning experience, so far. And I’ve met so many wonderful people along the way.
My journey continues, so If you love writing, food, and/or mysteries, this is the place to be!
